MARCH 2024...IT IS NO ACCIDENT (Act 16:9-34)

It is God’s will that that you are in Southern Nevada. He called you to come, bring
the good news of Jesus to a lost and dying area. I believe that God’s call is both to
service and to a place. He called you to serve Him, and He moved you to Southern
Nevada as your place of service. Just as Paul was called to serve Jesus and call to
Europe, you are called here.

So, what will happen when we follow God. Let’s look at what happened to Paul when he followed God’s vision. First, he met Lydia, a rich woman who believed in Jesus and blessed the missionaries by taking care of their financial needs. . . .

After the blessing of encountering Lydia, he met the slave girl. She was a real
challenge to his work. We also will face challenges When our work is challenging,
God will provide a miracle. The slave girl was redeemed from her demon. A miracle solved Paul’s problem. We can expect miracles when we are walking with God. . . .

But with blessings and miracles there comes opposition. Paul is beaten and put in
prison. We can expect Satan to try to discourage us or even stop us. Following God’s direction results in blessings, miracles, and opposition. Paul shows us how to handle opposition. He prayed, sang hymns and praises, and let God provide the
deliverance. When opposition comes, trust God to fight the battle. He is able to take care of us. So do as Paul did, pray, sing, and trust God.

Finally, when we are following God, we can expect to see a great harvest. The jailer and his whole household were saved and baptized. People in the Bible were always saved and then baptized. So, since God called us here, we need to be faithful to serve Him here. We should expect blessings, miracles, opposition, and a great harvest. . . .
