June 2022...GOD IS GOOD!

There is a chorus that goes like this...

"God is so good, God is so good, God is so good, He's so good to me!

He answers prayer, He answers prayer, He answers prayer, He's so good to me!

God is in the prayer answering business.  He loves you and wants the best for you.  Sometimes we ask for things in prayer that are not good for us, and He says NO!  Sometimes we ask for things that we are not ready to handle and God says wait.  But sometimes we ask, and He says "yes" granting our request.  We rejoice!

James 5:17-18 says, "Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the earth for three years and six months.  Then he prayed again, and the sky poured rain and the earth produced its fruit.

As we pray today let us realize that God answers every prayer.  He listens to us.  He says, "Be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God."  Philippians 4:6
