March 2022...Urgency of the Gospel

"There is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12)  The most important message that we have is that salvation comes only through faith in Jesus Christ.  So what is this message, “Repent therefore and return, that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshment may come from the presence of the Lord.”  (Acts 3:19)

We live in a time of unrest.  People have no peace.  Inflation has taken our money.  The world is full of uncertainty.  We have the answer to this problem.  We need to speak with authority.  We do not have the money, or the power to fix the world but Christ does.  Our message needs to be “turn to Christ and be saved.”  He will give them “love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.” (Galatians 5:8)

It is our role to get the message out.  We need to mobilize the membership.  This can begin by bringing them to our monthly Prayer Summit.  At this meeting we pray for revival to spread through the church and an awakening to happen to our world.  There is no hope except Christ.  We have the power to change the world by releasing the power of God to work through us.  So, the message is ours to tell.  The power to speak boldly comes from being filled with the Holy Spirit.

At our March Prayer Summit we will be praying for those who are in need to find salvation from their sins.  We will be praying for the filling of the Holy Spirit so we can speak the Word of God boldly.  We will be praying especially for our families, friends, and co-workers to repent and turn to God.  Here are the details:
